Overall, the resort has potential, but it falls well short of the five-star experience it's advertised to be. The property is nice, but better signage is needed as it's not always easy to find your way around. Our stay got off to a rough start. The first morning there was no water for about 30 minutes. When it came back, it was yellow and had a bad odor. One of the faucets in the bathroom vanity sink also gave off a foul smell whenever the water was turned on, so we had to switch rooms. The second room still had an odor that seemed to come from the toilet. Maintenance came several times, but the issue was never fully resolved. We purchased the Platinum upgrade before arriving, and it was worth it, especially the butler service and Platinum buffet. However, basic service shouldn't require an upgrade. We waited almost 90 minutes after calling the regular towel service, but once we contacted our butler, towels arrived within minutes. The food was good, but the overall customer service was below expectations. Housekeeping staff often complained openly, which didn't reflect a luxury resort. The excessive condensation in the hallways, stairwells, and rooms also created slippery floors and a safety concern. I understand the resort is only about two years old, but these issues should have been resolved by now. Based on our experience, I'd rate it 2.5 out of 5 stars and would not recommend it at this time.
